was born in Terni in 1976. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in industrial design at the ISIA of Rome, and followed afterward with a master degree in “Visual FX for Cinema and TV” at the NAD Centre of Montreal. In 2001, he started to work in the field of 3d animation and computer graphics to take care of industrial design exclusively later on. He has become very succesful in designing hi-tech products, interior design and sanitary ceramics. This has given him the opportunity to consolidate a solid know-how as a designer and as an art director for important companies both national and internationally. He believes that factors that take part into making a good product are most of the times of a human nature, rather than just technical-scientific. Following this threat of thought, in 2008 he founded Mater, a place where freedom in the traffic of ideas becomes a flow that makes it possible to translate into reality ideas and solutions.
was born in Terni in 1980. She attended the Academy of Arts and New Technologies in Rome, where she obtained the qualifications of “Graphic Visualizer” and “Graphic Advertiser”. In 2003, she started to collaborate with some graphic design agencies and to create brand and visual communication for some clients. Since 2008, she is the Art Director at Mater; she takes care of projects like branding, publishing, advertising and web design. At the same time, she has gained experience in teaching 2D graphics software.
was born in Terni in 1974. She earned a Ph.D. in Architecture at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Since 2006, she has been doing research at the Faculty of Architecture in Chieti-Pescara on behalf of the Regione Umbria. She obtained a Master degree “KlimaHous-CasaClima” at the Free University of Bolzano and became a “KlimaHaus-Casaclima” expert consultant. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in recovery and rehabilitation of settlement areas as well as a researcher in the energy saving field. She works as a freelance architect with Mater.
was born in Terni in 1982. After graduating from High School he signed up at the University of Architecture and Interior Design in Rome. Since childhood he cultivates a passion for everything related to drawing and visualization. He first focused on pre-visualization and post-production, to specialize on 3D graphics later on. He obtained several diplomas and certificates of proficiency in 3D graphics software, such as Rhinoceros (Italy, 2005 and Barcelona, 2010), Softimage | XSI (Italy, 2006), and Adobe Photoshop (Italy, 2006). Over the years, he tries out and deepens into other programs, including Maxwell Render and KeyShot. Since 2005 he collaborates with Mater on the creation of digital contents, and at Materforma as a certified trainer. Since 2009 he is a teacher at the N.I.D. in Perugia.
was born in 1980 in Ariano Irpino. In 2006, she obtained a Ph.D. in Industrial Design at the ISIA in Rome. She attended the master in “Sustainable Urban Design” at the IUAV in Venice. Later on, she carried out research on “The New contemporary Prefab Home” at the Environmental Park in Turin. Back in Rome, she became involved in a research project between the ISIA Rome Design and Aspect Italia Srl to develop a new machine for the biomedical field. In 2009, she was awarded a Research Fellowship on sustainable design. She currently collaborates with Mater on concept design.
